OPAL-RT TECHNOLOGIES is a leader of open Real-Time Digital Simulators and Hardware-in-the-Loop testing equipment for electrical, electro-mechanical and power electronic systems. RT-LAB enables users to rapidly develop models for Real-Time Simulation while minimizing investment and the cost of ownership. RT-LAB together with OPAL-RT solvers and models are designed with advanced field programmable gate array (FPGA) I/O and processing boards to form a complete solutions for Rapid Control Processing and Hardware in the loop simulation.

RT-LAB is fully integrated with MATLAB/Simulink as it is an open real-time simulation software environment. RT-LAB’s flexibility and scalability allows it to be used in almost any simulation or control system application, adding computing-power to simulations, where and when it is needed.
