ESD SIMULATORS

In order to test electronic and electrical devices for their resistance against electrostatic discharges, ESD discharges are artificially generated using so-called ESD generators and their effect on the devices is examined. How the tests are carried out and whether the protective effect is sufficient is regulated by legal standards such as IEC 61000-4-2 and ISO 10605.
